Under the supervision of the VP of Finance & Operations, the Accounting Manager will be involved in all areas related to financial reporting, including but not limited to :

  • Monthly closing process and Reporting to headquarters :
  • Responsible for financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and company Group Accounting Principles
  • Coordinate month-end closing and produce monthly reporting package for headquarters
  • Generate monthly wholesales report
  • Review and analyze income statement against last year / budget figures
  • Address management requests in term of account analysis and justification
  • Provide support during external audit
  • Cash Management
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation of the company
  • Prepare monthly cash pooling reconciliation with mother company
  • Prepare cash-flow forecasts of the company
  • Inventories
  • Generate monthly inventory transaction reports and OH reports
  • Communicate with warehouse and operation department on inventory issues
  • Calculate additional costs included in inventory valuation and control correct application of average cost valuation method
  • Calculate and record inventory write off and reserve; adjust inventory discrepancy between accounting and operating
  • Fixed Assets
  • Responsible for all Fixed Assets in SAP: acquisition, depreciation, disposals
  • Prepare monthly fixed Assets analysis for Group reporting
  • Follow open purchase orders for Fixed Assets
  • Payroll
  • Review payroll GL files prepared by HR and upload them into SAP
  • Clear all payroll related cash transactions into SAP
  • Review payroll accruals
  • Tax
  • Produce and control monthly, quarterly or annual sales tax returns, both US and Canada
  • Support on annual corporate tax returns preparation


  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Corporate Finance (Accounting / Finance)
  • BS in accounting
  • Excellent management skills (team of 3)
  • Strong analytical, proactive and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization skills, team-work oriented
  • Ability to effectively communicate with management
  • SAP literate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
