If so, our client a growing Pharmaceutical firm a leading provider of non-opioid pain management medications needs your help as an Accounting Manager to help them reduce delays and improve their accounting processes to do the following:
Manages the financial reporting process, which includes accumulating, maintaining, analyzing and reporting financial information for use by both external SEC and internal management customers, including quarterly and annual financial statements in Forms 10-K and 10-Q, notes to the consolidated financial statements, and Management's Discussion and Analysis. Supports data requests for Company's independent auditors and SOX auditors and manages the audits of annual statutory accounts for foreign entities. This position prepares adjustments between U.S. GAAP and statutory reporting requirements and is responsible for the preparation of journal entries for stock-based compensation and forecasting for the related expense.
Coordinate preparation of quarterly and annual SEC financial statement
Coordinate input for Forms 10-K and 10-Q and other SEC filings (e.g. 8-K's) as necessary
Set up and maintain quarterly and annual filing documents in Workiva
Input and ensure data linked from worksheets to financial statements in Workiva
Prepare, post and tie-out data to balance sheet, income statement, stockholder's equity, cash flow and various notes and Management's Discussion and Analysis (MD&A) sections
Prepare and update sections of MD&A in Forms 10-K and 10-Q
Prepare Accounting and SEC Disclosure checklists
Coordinate disclosure committee meetings
Prepare Audit Committee slide decks and quarterly financial summary data for management
Oversee XBRL tagging for quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K filings.
Prepare monthly and quarterly basic and diluted earnings per share calculations.
Prepare valuation model (with the inputs) and the accounting memorandum for contingent consideration.
Prepare accounting position memorandums for both routine assessments and one-time transactions including intangible impairments, goodwill impairments, investments, long-lived assets, going concern considerations, contingent consideration, and non-GAAP assessments.
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for stock compensation and equity including stock options, RSU's and ESPP's and provide support in compensation and equity related matters as needed.
Provide equity data for tax provision and returns and other tax matters as needed
Coordinate statutory audits for foreign subsidiaries.
You will use the following skills to be able to assist:
• 5-7 years of relevant Accounting experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, Finance or closely related field
• Experience working in a fast paced, publicly-traded, corporate environment managing multiple tasks/projects.
• CPA required
