Job Overview

Komatsu is currently searching for an Accounting Manager to support our Longview Operations in Longview, Tx. Komatsu offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits and annual merit/bonus potential.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Produce accurate and timely financial statements along with supporting informational supporting schedules and required analysis.
2. Monitor internal controls to assure compliance. Provide data and analysis needed to satisfy external auditors.
3. Compile necessary information for used tax and annual income tax package.
4. Assist in formulation of annual business plan financial statements along with periodic financial outlook.
5. Provide supervision for general accounting includes: tax, payroll reporting requirements, A/P, GRIR,CEA fixed assets/Capex budgeting and document control including SOX.
6. Responsible for all financial matters for Forestry division.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. CPA and/or CMA preferred
• 5-7 years' experience in manufacturing accounting processes and operations.
• Computer skills and related software training
• Experience working with SAP production management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc)

Additional Information

• Support Month-end closing and reporting.
• Review applicable momthly journal entries
• Review applicable general ledger account reconciliations
• Prepare required analysis for external auditors as needed
• Perform budgeting & forecast related duties
• Interact with staff on accounting related topics
• Handle and oversee payroll related tasks
• Perform Fixed Assets reviews, CapEx and CEA related tasks
• Perform special projects as needed
• Review and audit internal controls
• Prepars seasonal and monthly property and Use tax files
• Maintain Lease Schedules
• Handles A/P & GRIR related transactions
