Responsibilities:

  • Partner with operational controller to manage public company accounting and reporting requirements
  • Engage with third party property managers and Fund Administrator to ensure timely and accurate reporting of NAV and quarterly public filings
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of financial statements, related footnote disclosures, and supporting detail schedules, including review of general ledger data maintained by Fund Administrator
  • Coordinate and maintain fund level cash forecasts
  • Analyze financial data for specific Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain key monthly performance metrics
  • Assist with external/internal audit requests as well as SOX documentation and recurring testing of controls
  • Ensure intercompany and related party transactions are identified and properly recorded and eliminated, including investigating out-of-balance positions
  • Support accounts payable processes with monitoring and coding
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment within designated deadlines
