Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead a high-performance team. Based in the Biltmore area, this position will be responsible for the following activities:

Job Duties Include:

  • Manages a team of four; communicating expectations, monitoring and appraising performance
  • Manages monthly, quarterly and annual year-end close
  • Oversee account reconciliations, accounting system balancing and occasional audits, maintaining a cleanbalance sheet
  • Responsible for integrity of GL, financial data and reports flowing from the financial system
  • Manages team responsible for local, state and federal taxes, A/P, billable and reimbursable expense, cash applications and bookkeeping
  • Manages and minimizes income taxliability in a changing legal environment
  • Manages and minimizes banking / treasury costs
  • Reviews and documents processes, strives for maximum efficiency and value of the team
  • Prepares special reports as needed
  • Other duties as needed

Successful candidates will possess the following:

  • Accountingdegreerequired
  • 10 or more years of full-cycle accounting experience
  • 3 or more years of management experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience in a professional services profession
  • Experience teaming with peers in Billing, FP&A and Payroll for maximum Finance team efficiency
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with finance systems
