ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists in leading the organization's Accounting and Treasury functions

  • Assists in establishing, maintaining, and enforcing the organization's accounting policies and procedures

  • Assists with the analysis and review of the organization's financial performance by collecting, analyzing and reporting financial and statistical data

  • Provides timely and accurate financial information to top management while providing key observations and recommendations

  • Assists in acquisition activities including due diligence, purchase accounting, integrations, and impairment testing

  • Effectively manages cash and maximizes the return on any excess cash balances

  • Manages the Accounting team including hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, etc.

  • Develops and maintains system controls for ensuring data integrity

  • Performs account reconciliations and analysis

  • Leads monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including all audit activities associated

  • Identifies and implements process improvement and automation

  • Ensures the Company meets all regulatory requirements and complies with best practices, professional standards, internal policies and procedures

  • Fosters external relationships with customers, vendors, and consultants

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum ten years of relevant experience in Accounting

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accountingrequired

  • CPA certification required

  • Experience with acquisition due diligence and integrations

  • Ability to display a high level of integrity in dealing with confidential information

  • Detail and deadline oriented, with proactive attitude

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Proven management skills in a dynamic environment

  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Able to multi-task and prioritize work under competing demands

  • Team oriented.
