Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, including 2 + years' experience in public accounting, Big 4 preferred, or comparable consulting firm
  • CPA certification preferred


A great Engagement Director would also possess the following:

  • A strong client services delivery orientation including the demonstrated ability to take an active role in executing engagements to client service standards
  • SEC reporting experience a plus
  • Strong audit experience a preferred
  • Work related experience in any of the following areas is preferred: previous audit, compliance or internal controls
  • Experience in designing/improving accounting processes such as: monthly close, management and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, shared services or application outsourcing and system implementations
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives and team members
  • Ability to travel is strongly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
