The Role

This position is a great opportunity to join a well-established organization working under theAccounting Manager and interfacing directly with senior level executives.

You will be responsible for assisting the company with accounts payable, budgets, cost control and administrative functions. This will include reconciling/processing and paying invoices. You will establish relationships with vendors and administer contracts/agreements and be the point of contact for invoice submission/payment requests. You will also perform basic accounting administrative tasks and perform daily data entry and miscellaneous projects as assigned.

The Person

You should possess a four-year College Degree or a combination of education and experience equivalent from a two-year college or technical school along with two years of related experience and/or training. To succeed in this role, you should have a math, accounting or finance background with a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping/accounting principles and proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures. You should also be a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual. Good knowledge of EXCEL and WORD is a pre-requisite. Experience with YARDI would be advantageous.
