Responsibilities:

  • Study company profile and identify client’s needs and challenges to understand its marketing opportunities
  • Prepare proposals and scope all work for approval, including budgets and timelines
  • Work with demand generation teams to develop and implement marketing strategies and plans according to the objectives and the budget
  • Work with creative teams and on branding, positioning and content development
  • Manage internal teams, projects, schedules, client communication and feedback loops
  • Provide direction and oversight on all work
  • Identify and anticipate potential problems and find alternative solutions
  • Understand the components of integrated B2B marketing strategies and apply them in making decisions
  • Identify, research and present additional business opportunities within the assigned clients to executive level contacts
  • Negotiate with clients and agency staff concerning project details, schedules and deadlines
  • Recognize and resolve agency and client-side project constraints
  • Provide leadership within the agency on behalf of the client
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of others; motivate and inspires others; assign and delegate work to others; manage and monitor the work of others
  • Support new business initiatives
  • Ensure client satisfaction with agency in achieving business goals and objectives

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising or marketing, or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of agency experience managing clients in a B2B environment or equivalent client-side marketing experience; digital agency experience is a plus
  • Must have strategic and analytical marketing skills; excellent understanding of digital media and integrated marketing
  • Must be a confident self-starter, team player, innovative problem solver and be able to manage multiple projects at once
  • Needs to be attentive to detail, resourceful, work well under pressure and have strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required; Google Suite products, research tools, ad servers and media billing systems a plus
