Summary

GS&F is looking for an Account Supervisor to join the agency to lead our social media efforts on our Public Relations and Social Media team. Possessing a deep understanding of current and emerging social channels impacting marketing, the Social Media Account Supervisor will be responsible for the leadership of our social media capabilities as an organization, management of our social media team, and crafting social media strategies that drive effective campaigns for clients. This role requires an individual who is part strategist, early adopter of social media trends, and creative maker.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Public Relations, Digital and Creative teams to develop and implement social media programs for GS&F clients
  • Serve as the agency thought leader on all things social media to ensure consistency and alignment with agency marketing and business initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date and informed on the latest platforms and trends in the ever-evolving social media landscape
  • Train and mentor team members so they progress in their careers and deliver the best possible client service

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations or Communications
  • Minimum 6 years of social media experience, including the development of social media strategy and implementation of paid and organic social media campaigns; advertising or PR agency experience is preferred
  • Comprehensive experience creating engaging, integrated social media campaigns across all digital channels, including quantitative measurement of programs and how to tailor and format content for optimal results
  • Fluent in capabilities and best practices of key social media platforms and a clear understanding of social media trends and how to develop engaging programs through emerging social channels
  • Understanding of how audiences behave on social channels and how to influence them and be relevant
  • Progressive thinker with a passion for digital marketing disciplines, paid media and influencer engagement
  • Proven record of grit and determination; collaboration and problem solving; and stellar management, organizational and planning skills
  • Fluent in social media tools, including Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Socialbakers, Sprinklr, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and other social media administration and analytics tools
