Title:  Account Specialist
Location: Troy, Michigan
Reports to: SI Sales Operations

The Role:  J.D. Power is currently seeking an Account Specialist to support sales operations activities across the company’s portfolio of service industries.  The Account Specialist will work directly with the following J.D. Power teams: sales, finance, legal, research, product, practice, IT, and marketing.

The Impact: As an Account Specialist, you will support multiple account executives in multiple service industries to help support top and bottom-line financial results that directly impact the J.D. Power’s revenue and profitability objectives.

Responsibilities:
•Contract and Salesforce/CRM Management for multiple service industries
•Interaction across all departments and Executive level leaders
•Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement.
•Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
•Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.
•Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives.
•Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel.
•Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in sales operations efforts.

Qualifications:
•Education: Bachelor’s Degree
•Experience: 3 years industry experience or proven achievements in a related industry is desirable.
•Knowledge: An understanding of the contract process and CRM/Salesforce systems are needed.
•Previous positions in sales operations and/or sales representative are a plus as this experience brings a balanced perspective and inclination for teamwork in achieving corporate goals
