Purpose of Position The purpose of this position is to market company services for a diverse client/customer base, manage customer relationships and assist in the development of company strategy to maximize transportation and storage revenues for NNG with its clients. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions)Create newtransportation services to match the needs of shippers while managing appropriaterisk levels. In addition, provide excellent customer service to existing account customers, manage daily requirements of these accounts and look for ways to increase firm entitlement of these accounts. Have a working knowledge of and usefinancial derivative products to managerisk or capturetransportation or storage related value. Negotiate and structure complex agreements fortransportation or storage services, having a complete understanding ofmarket trends and needs. Locate, evaluate and successfully negotiate the purchase or sale of pipeline assets. Proactively market company services to existing and potential customers. Analyze customer’s business to derive optimal business arrangement between customer and company. Facilitate market expansion projects to meet customer and company objectives.Increase revenue generation from assigned customers. Develop and maintain market intelligence regarding alternate supply and market prices and conditions. Ensure NNG is responsive to customers and assist customers in their effectiveutilization of NNG’s systems. Integrate NNG’s marketing programs with customer utility programs to promote core market growth. Establish and maintain close working relationships with the supply marketing divisions of the customer utilities and marketing companies. Assist customers in the interpretations of NNG’s tariffs and procedures and be able to sufficiently explain these procedures to the customer. Ensure all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understand and comply with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company. Perform any additionalresponsibilities as requested or assigned.


Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, business administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience. (Typically six years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor’s degree.) Eight plus years of experience with business development or related experience in the energy industry. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
