Job Description     Overview:
The Account Manager is the new business acquisition leader for their assigned customer. They need to drive the internal acquisition and quotation process, and work with the customer either directly or in conjunction with the product sales manager and engineering team, to ensure profitable sales growth.

Core Responsibilities:
• External acquisition strategy and target price definition in front of the customer
• Networking at different levels within the customer and our internal organization
• Negotiate offers / price changes / claims / EBIT improvements, etc
• Defines negotiation strategy and provides tactical plan for new business opportunities
• Responsible for the elaboration of multi product quotations
• Opportunity management: scouts for new opportunities in early stage, gives first inputs for SPOT and performs first data filtering for any opportunity or new RFQ
• Coordinates Tech Days / Management Meetings / events for the BU / controls escalation process
• Final responsibility for sales development and sales plan at the respective customer
• Maintain Required Customer Information including Product Roadmaps, Must Wins…

Additional Responsibilities:
• Definition of the customer strategy for the BU
• Supplier Portal
• Customer and competitor intelligence
• Provides guidance on Terms & Conditions
Job Requirements     Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 7 to 10+ years within automotive engineering or automotive technology sales experience
• Experience working with FCA

Preferred Qualifications:
• 10+ years of automotive engineering and sales experience
• Knowledge of various automotive sensor technologies
