Zelis is looking for an Account Manager to join our team.  The Account Manager will have responsibility for management of designated client relationships within an assigned book of business with clear goals on retention, identification of upsell opportunities, and maximizing existing service lines. Will work with Account Executive and Senior Account Managers to deliver best-in-class service and provide proactive solutions in order to maintain positive client relationships.

Key responsibilities:

  • Participate as a team member in the implementation of assigned client accounts from kick off to post production including but not limited to tracking implementation and managing administrative aspects of implementation

  • Work closely with Implementation Team on customizations on Claims Editing and other products.

  • Work closely with Finance on assigned client accounts on billing matters.

  • Manage assigned client accounts to ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and partnership.

  • Analyze and report on performance results to determine and confirm trends, opportunities, competitive landscape, etc.

  • Conduct stewardship meetings with clients to present performance and overall partnership value.

  • Address any client needs/customizations relating to products and services.

  • Work with PMO to any customized report needs for assigned client accounts.

  • Perform web portal training with assigned client accounts during implementation and as needed.

  • Identify upsell/cross sell opportunities through new products & services to assigned client accounts.

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to promote new/additional services offered by ZELIS

  • Participate in sales and marketing meetings on an as needed basis

  • as required, and provide consultation and assistance to team members as needed.

  • Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to ZELIS standards regarding privacy

Professional experience:

  • 5+ years experience in healthcare industry with specific knowledge of cost management and/or group health claims process

  • Dynamic interpersonal skills that will enable developing strong rapport with clients

  • Ability to clearly communicate to clients and internal ZELIS stakeholders

  • Sense of urgency, ability to multi-task

  • Thorough knowledge of Excel and otherMS Suite products

  • Experience with is a plus.
