The Account Manager for Advisor Services overseas and directs the timely deployment of new products for investment manager clients. The Account Manager collaborates with external partners and across the organization with management, sales, relationship management and other departments to implement and create an engaged, timely and precise new fund onboardingexperience for the clients of Gemini Fund Services, LLC (“GFS”), a wholly owned subsidiary of NorthStar Financial Services Group, LLC (“NorthStar”). The Account Manager provides a crucial initial point of contact for clients. The Account Manager is responsible for gaining an understanding of the client's needs and expectations to manage the customer's experience. The Account Manager ensures that all interactions and services for and with the client are in accordance with client guidelines and requirements.

• Manages the new implementation or conversion process for all new and additional client fund launches for The Gemini Companies
• Acts as the primary point of contact between the client and all departments of The Gemini Companies through out the implementaion process
• Initiates initial engagement between outside counsel, clients and Trust
• Proactively plans and maintains all appointments, implementation project timelines, agendas and effective follow up with clients and The Gemini Companies departments to ensure project progression
• Coordinates and conducts on-going meetings until completion of fund launches or conversion with clients and The Gemini Companies departments to ensure project progression
• Ensures that all Gemini Companies departments are meeting client standards and expectations during the implementation timeline
• Coordinates the client initial introductions with Northern Lights Distributors, Northern Lights Compliance, Blu Giant and other Northstar companies as needed
• Coordinates the client initial introductions with custodian banks, and brokers (trading partners)
• Manages the initial establishment and onboarding of broker/dealer relationships and access to Fund Platforms for new fund implementations

• Primary contact and liaison for existing fund family fund additions, fund changes, escalations at primary custodians
• Acts as Project Lead and assists all Gemini Companies departments with advisor initiated projects as noted but not limited to fund closures, custody changes, mergers and reorganizations
• Follows-up with all Gemini Companies departments to ensure project tasks are carried out in a timely manner
• Resolves client issues or problems by identifying the issues, understanding interests, listing possible solutions, and selecting the best option for resolution throughout the project
• Coordinates and maintains weekly updates with outside law firms (i.e. timeline, filings, comments and board meetings)
• Maintains all project implementation plans in Salesforce and provides reporting to management
• Acts as a point of contact for all escalated issues that may arise during implementation, report significant issues to senior management as needed
• Documents all activities accurately and consistently

May perform other duties as required and assigned.

• Daily contact with clients regarding matters pertinent to implementations
• Regular contact with internal teams; Fund Administration, internal and external Legal, Fund Accounting, Transfer Agent and Strategic Relationship Management teams regarding general communication, problem resolution and process improvement for fund implementation and conversions
• Regular contact with internal departments and external vendors/relations regarding meeting client’s needs

• Excellent project management skills
• Knowledge of Mutual Funds, Industry, and quality client service deliverables
• Knowledge and understanding of project management concepts and discipline
• Knowledge and understanding of Salesforce CRM
• Ability to exercise appropriate judgement, reasoning and decision-making
• Ability to trouble-shoot issues
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining careful attention to detail
• Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills
• Effective problem solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively both individually and within a team environment
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and address competing priorities
• Proficient skills with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required
• Series 7 license preferred

• Minimum of 1 year of implementation management experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Advisor Services/client service position
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in customer service, relationship management and/or operational support required
• Experience working within Financial Services industry preferred
