This international company that is in the soil remediation and water technology industry is seeking an Account Manager or Sales Engineer for the Central U.S. The candidate can live anywhere in the United States. This company is very technologically advanced and uses 100% Green Technology. The Account Manager or Sales Engineer will work from his/her home office. 

The Account Manager or Sales Engineer will sell environmental solutions, including products, processes and technology for soil remediation, water treatment, and water purification. Will work as the primary Representative for an assigned customer base. Manages the sales process of environmental solutions for products, processes and services. Develops trusted consultative business relationships with customers. Works as a customer representative and advocate for the organization. Delivers value proposition of the company's superior solutions, products and services. Coordinates with internal technical staff (R&D, Process Development, Product Management and Engineering) to ensure sucessful delivery of the company's solutions. Provides outstanding customer service with all sales activities, including concept and solutions presentations, support delivery of outstanding service on a day-to-day basis. Actively pursues sales leads and opportunities, keeping the North American Sales Manager informed of the business pipeline, and involving the manager when needed for issues critical to the sale. 

Qualifications 

A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Environmental Science, Biology, Science, Engineering, Chemistry or Business. Graduate studies in Business or Environmental Science is a plus. Experience in Technical Sales in the environmental industry, soil remediation or treatment, industrial water treatment, municipal drinking water segments, media for water and soil treatment, or chemical industry background with 4 - 15years experience. Ability to manage channels in the marketplace. Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus. The position includes frequent traveling, about 50% of the time.
