The Role at NFP

We’re growing our P&C Private Client Group Team in Canada. We are looking for an Account Manager to attract, retain and build strong relationships with our High Net-Worth clients by providing superior client service. This includes:

• Servicing and proactively managing an assigned clients’ personal insurance portfolio’s inclusive of renewals, mid-term changes, cancellations 30-45 days in advance of the date in accordance with company service/quality standards
• Handling incoming/outgoing calls and email requests from clients in a timely manner
• Assisting with insurer portal transactions to complete endorsement and renewal activities
• Initiating and providing guidance in the claims process
• Managing and building relationships with assigned Centre’s of Influence (i.e. wealth management firms, art appraisers, real estate firms, etc.) and their client base to grow an assigned portfolio
• Contributing to premium growth targets by requesting referrals from clients, business associates and other departments to ensure a consistent pipeline of new clients are added to assigned portfolio; referring business to other lines where applicable

• Strong customer service skills in order to maintain long-term growth and retention
• Exceptional quotation skills for cross-selling, upselling and remarketing
• Detail and goal-oriented, highly motivated and resourceful to achieve results
• A talent for listening, negotiating and establishing trust while staying dedicated to crafting solutions for clients
• Ability to quickly learn the NFP business model and value proposition
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Adaptable to change
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic

Education and/or Experience:

• Typically, more than 7 years of personal lines experience – preferably managing a High Net-Worth client base
• Broad Major Market portal experience – especially with high-end carriers such as Chubb Insurance, Aviva Ovation and Northbridge, GCNA / Intact Prestige
• Extensive insurance carrier relationships
• Excellent computer skills expected and EPIC fluency an asset
