Kforce has a client in Hilliard, Ohio (OH) seeking an Account Manager. Summary: The Account Manager is responsible for sales account management of key direct accounts. The position consists of sales development and account management, web site management assistance, order entry, follow-up, order tracking, inbound phone support and delivering a first-class customer experience. Essential Functions

  • Manage assigned key accounts from order entry to shipment of goods, ensuring proper service and timeliness of order fulfillment
  • Be instrumental in working with the Business Development Manager (BDM) and our outside sales commission representatives
  • Provide quotes for key direct accounts by working with the BDM and Sales Director
  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients by making outbound sales calls to prospects and generate leads as assigned by the Sales Director
  • Coordinate print, dye, and design samples of all existing and new products to customers, utilizing Adobe Suite software when necessary
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
  • Identify and resolve client concerns
  • Answer inbound phone calls from the overload of Sales Support queue
  • Field escalated pricing and sales questions for the sales support team
  • Perform routine order entry for key accounts, as well as various product updates in the customer database
  • Participate in trade shows and other marketing events nationwide as necessary, as well as customer sales visits
  • Communicate with credit department on any past due receivables on customer's account
  • Track all orders in process and coordinate with production team to meet deadlines
  • Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Sales and/or equivalent, relevant experience
  • 3 plus years of experience in sales, marketing and/or related role
  • Possess basic software skills in the Adobe Suite Package (Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Have an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Possess a strong attention to detail and be well organized
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines at one time
  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment while managing individual priorities and duties efficiently
  • Ability to follow and to carry out instructions on delegated tasks with little to no supervision
  • Ability to track all orders in process and hold production accountable to meet deadlines
  • Possess the ability to maintain composure during escalated issues and busy periods
  • Ability to make outbound sales calls to prospects and generate leads
  • Be flexible to meet constantly changing needs of a rapidly growing company
  • Be comfortable with building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Be willing to travel as necessary to national trade shows to help market the brand
