This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for Corporate Social Responsibility, responsible for creating and executing the growth strategy of a new environmental stewardship.
Should be a growth driver with sales and marketingresponsibilities as well as product ownership to ensure price and product offering are meeting the needs of customers. This person will also have P&L responsibilities. This individual will need to become a subject matter expert in the space to both understand the marketplace while creating marketing strategies to cultivate awareness and excitement for the product offering.
Create and execute business development strategy for specialty venture
Develop keen understanding of the specialty market and the many offerings in this space
Identify opportunities to enhance offering and make necessary changes to create the best positioning to the marketplace.
Exceed stated revenue goals and all related milestones necessary to achieve goals
Create marketing initiatives that will generate excitement and supporters of the venture
Identify, cultivate, and solicit consumers, members, corporations and corporate foundations resulting in positive and lasting relationships with the company
Create presence and excitement for the company at industry events, including trade shows, conferences and seminars
Accountable to develop and manage budgets
Effectively negotiate contracts and formal agreements, and manage relationships with multiple prospects
Provide excellent client service to corporate partners
Successful candidates will possess the following skills, education and experience:
Minimum of 3years of successful product and/or revenue growth experience, preferably in the area of corporate relations and/or business to business with a Bachelor’s degree.
Will consider the following backgrounds: Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Innovation, Sustainability Management, Environmental Management, Human Systems Intervention, etc.
3+ years of Salesexperience with some Marketing background.
Passion for the company’s mission, nature, environmental stewardship and people
Demonstrated ability to build relationships with prospects and understand the needs of both the individual(s) and corporations
Strategic ability to create and execute a multi-faceted plan
Exceptional ability to exceed revenue targets, whether over the phone, in person or via marketing tactics
Strong collaborator with internal team members and ability to leverage knowledge and experience
Experienceworking with Senior Level executives in a corporate environment (C-level/VP)
Positive attitude, strong initiative and work ethic, engaged team member with high degree of professionalism
Strong communicator of the company’s programs while also listening for new opportunities
Proficient in basic computer applications, including a CRM platform
Open to some travel
