We have an immediate need for an experienced Account Manager to manage accounts and grow our business. The best person for this job defines account management broadly, works comfortably in consulting and strategic engagements, and is willing to live and breathe the client’s business and industry — with a history of holding “trusted advisor” status with his or her clients. We are looking for candidates that seem to always have a Plan A, B and C prepared in advance, and exhibit a “go all in” mentality in everything they do. They are also life-long learners who tackle new challenges and ambiguous situations head-on, with gusto.

In this role, you will do the following:

  • Act as a contact and communication link for one or more client accounts
  • Help determine project scope, write proposals and assist in estimate development
  • Create schedules and work with internal teams to drive execution of deliverables
  • Write and/or contribute to project briefs
  • Conduct team briefings and kick-off meetings
  • Ensure projects have adequate resources to be completed on time and on budget
  • Create client status reports
  • Develop presentations, facilitate client events and lead meetings
  • Become an expert on client’s products, business, markets and customers
  • Collaborate with strategy and creative teams to ensure work is executed according to client’s needs and expectations
  • Develop, manage, and communicate account budgets

The right candidate has:

  • No fewer than three years of account management experience in an agency environment (plus if the focus was branding and/or integrated marketing with a strategic component)
  • The ability to manage a wide variety of on- and off-line deliverables simultaneously while monitoring budgets and schedules
  • Well-honed business acumen
  • Business-to-business account experience (a plus but not required)
