Job Description

The Account Executive serves as the primary representative of Prime to multiple employer accounts. This position works directly with multiple existing employer Administrative Services Only (ASO) accounts to optimize the pharmacy spend at the ASO account through use of Prime products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the Plan’s account teams, lead efforts to maximize the pharmacy spend from the ASO employer accounts through the adoption of new and the expansion of existing products and services
  • Educate Employer groups on current topics in the industry, new product developments, and the competitive landscape; provide collateral materials and support when necessary to help facilitate the sales process
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with the Plan’s account teams to proactively communicate Prime’s key messages to current and potential clients and consultant community
  • Manage the end-to-end RFP process for renewing groups
  • Facilitate regularly scheduled meetings with clients in the assigned book of business
  • UpdateSalesForce.com with all client activity within the required timeframes
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
  • 3years experience in healthcare or pharmacy benefit management industry
  • 3years experience in sales and/or account management position

  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and create selling opportunities
  • Experience in developing and communicating selling strategies, presentations and proposals.
  • Strong internal and external relationship development skills
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
  • Strong customer orientation

  • PBM experience

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

  • Ability to travel up  to 50% of the time
  • Ability to work outside standard business hours when needed, which may include nights and weekends as needed
  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to a Sr Director in the Client Engagement department
