This position is remote, and may work out of any city in USA (within 1 hour from major airport).

Job Description

The Account Executive will be responsible for securing revenue for new logo?d accounts as well maintaining and expanding sales within existing accounts. On the business development side, role will use a combination of cold outreach as well as the nurturing of generated leads through marketing activities to close and service new business.

Once closed, the Account Executive will be responsible for client development from project presentations all the way to production and delivery, and for internal/external communications necessary for ensuring project success. The role will lead the day-to-day for the account team in terms of sales activity and customer satisfaction, collaborating with the Products & Services team to develop and execute innovative and creative solutions for our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create a pipeline of opportunities of new logo?d accounts and expansion of existing accounts by developing and delivering innovative and strategic solutions that balance client and agency values
  • Accountable for operational success of outcomes to ensure deliverables are met on time and on budget
  • Promote and encourage ongoing programs and sales, by pitching new offerings based on customer?s needs
  • Research accounts, understand client's short and long-term needs, and forecast business opportunities
  • Collaborate with account and creative teams to conceptualize, develop and provide program solutions according to client brief
  • Builds trust and maintains strong relationships with clients; exhibits leadership across account team
  • Immerses self in clients' business: understanding their challenges, objectives, external economic environment, industries; also knows their business model, how it is performing and what success looks like
  • Works closely with Client Service Managers (CSMs) to manage client?s day-to- day needs
  • Works with CSM to monitor account revenue growth and take accountability for accurate billing and forecasting to ensure financial health of accounts
  • Leads preparation for and participates in quarterly business review meetings and other client meetings as required (including new business pitches)
  • Maintain profitability on all client accounts
  • Create systems and provide weekly project updates to internal team and externally to client
  • Identify new products and innovative ideas in the marketplace and develop new creative ideas for clients' new projects to ensure ongoing customer engagement and sales
  • Manage all accounts and all steps in Salesforce according to business requirements
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, offerings, and client presence
  • Work with leadership on billing rates and pricing structure for each opportunity
  • Create proposal and Statement of Work (SOWs)
  • Travel on regular basis to sit down with clients for planning meetings and strategic growth opportunities

Qualifications

Required Expereince:

  • 2 - 3years experienceSales / Business Development in an account or agency based business to business solution
  • At least 4 - 6years experience in overall business to business (B2B) Sales / Business Development 
  • Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience; preferred field of study as Marketing, Sales / Business Development, Management, Finance
  • Demonstrated ability to generate, nurture and develop business to business (B2B) sales leads
  • Demonstrated ability to close business to business (B2B) content-driven deals
  • Demonstrated commitment to client management and success
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong relationship building skills across all account stakeholders - external client sales and account contacts, as well as internal contacts with client service team
  • A highly motivated self-starter with the ability to take initiative without direct supervision
  • Ability to learn new things quickly, and an openness to feedback and improvement
  • Experience successfully managing a P&L for a project or team
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage to and exceed deadlines and timelines
  • A team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to ensure accuracy and high quality across multiple responsibilities
  • Strong working knowledge of CRMs, web-based application tools, web-based project management tools, Google for Business Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortable working a remote environment
  • Ability to provide clear information required by others to make decisions
  • Ability and desire to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Excellent project planning skills, including the ability to anticipate and address project needs as they arise

$80K - $100K
$80K - $100K base, Bonus/Commissions (25% - 100% of base OTE&am bonus
