Security Source develops comprehensive and cost-effective security solutions for multi-location businesses, implemented through our nationwide network of experienced professionals, who are available 24/7. We have need for an Account Executive to join the team. This individual can work from any location in the United States. The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for the sale of products and services to multi-location organizations. A successful AE must be able to establish and grow customer relationships as well as internal and external partner relationships to drive top line and margin through the sale of video surveillance, alarm and data storage products.

The Account Executive will create and maintain strategic plans for their customer accounts, uncover bid opportunities, create customer proposals, create monthly and quarterly sales forecasting, attend industry association meetings and trade shows, and establish regular communication with influencers. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Develop and qualify leads for prospective customers.
  • Develop sales plan to meet sales objectives and goals.
  • Close new business.
  • Account management of new customers.
  • Build relationships at all levels within a customer's organization.
  • Attend industry association meetings and trade shows.
  • Develop and maintain active proposal backlog.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with security or technology sales to multi-location organizations.
  • Experience in applying solution-selling methodologies to maximize revenue growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work remotely on own initiative.
  • High level of attention to detail and accountability.
  • Ability to travel is required.
