As we continue to grow, we have an opening for an Account Executive with our Intersect product line. This individual would be responsible for engaging and closing new business with Higher Education institutions within a designated territory.
This position will be in:
Remote/Home office based, ideally east of Chicago.
What will you be doing as an Account Executive at Hobsons?
The Account Executive primary job responsibilities are to generate net new business from Colleges & Universities who are not currently a customer. They will manage a territory bases on geographic parameters.
The Account Executive is responsible for formulating a sales strategy and managing the sales campaigns into new accounts and leveraging the existing successes of similar current customers. They will work cooperatively with Sales Leadership & Sales Enablement in developing strategies to add opportunities to the sales funnel. Our Account Executives will maintain account ownership for a specified period after the initial sale and will have upsell opportunity during that timeframe. After the specified time, the account will transition to the Account Management team.
Account Executives will be required to develop an annual business plan and provide quarterly updates. Monthly revenue forecast, sales pipeline dynamics, and opportunity progression within the pipeline is required.
