The Account Executive is responsible for obtaining and closing new business for the company and works within 1-2 core offerings at designData which includes Agility Cloud within the Enterprise Services team. This person will focus on smaller organizations ranging in size from 10-40 employees and is knowledgeable about the technologies required to solve the business challenges of the client.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Manages multiple customers simultaneously.
•Efficiently identifies and helps resolve customer service and client environment improvements.
•Conducts recurring meetings with customer point of contact and designDATA assigned team to ensure that open issues are effectively addressed.
•Works with technical staff to properly maintain customer documentation.
•Tracks and manages change in the customer environment.
•Prospects potential clients utilizing various methods including the telephone, email, LinkedIn, and interaction at industry events.
•Conducts meetings with C-level executives and averages 8-10 net new meetings monthly.
•Demonstrates designDATA's cloud and mobile computing solutions.
•Closes contractual agreements for designDATA's managed services, vHOST, and agility cloud service offerings as applicable.
•Maintains relationships for referral business.
•Investigates new technologies that will improve business operations or streamline business processes.
•Other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements Required:

•Bachelor’s degree preferably in information technology management or related field.
•3+ years of progressive IT experience.
•Proven track record managing a diverse technology group in a fast-paced and customer-focused team environment.
•Outstanding ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
•Outstanding communications and customer relations skills.
•Excellent documentation management skills.
•Strong and diverse technical skills with a willingness to be hands’ on as needed.
•Proven ability to communicate with both end users and executives.
•Willingness to go “above and beyond” to exceed customer expectations.
•Effective client-facing interpersonal skills; comfortable and effective at acting as a liaison between multiple technology groups.
•Tailors communication appropriately within the team, the company, and clients.
