Account Executive - Environmental Safety

Our client is responsible for developing, implementing and directing compliance and safety in the workplace. They are seeking to hire an Account Executive who will be responsible for prospecting and identifying new business opportunities within an assigned territory to grow the business. In this role, you will work with clients who trust your judgment to recommend the best solutions to solve their most pressing safety and OSHA training requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales goals within an assigned territory (North NJ)
  • Manage client base and uncover new sales opportunities
  • Develop strategic sales plans in order to increase sales
  • Prospect/generate leads, identify business opportunities through cold calling
  • Establish and maintain client relationships and needs
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate and close sales
  • Travel to client sites and resolve issues as they arise
  • Keep well-informed of industry competitors and market
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and information accuracy in collaboration w/ internal depts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred not required
  • Min. 5+ years of Outside Sales experience preferably within environmental safety industry
  • Knowledge / Understanding of Construction industry, Scopes of Work, OSHA strongly preferred
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & CRM
  • Ability to travel within territory

Offering:

  • Base Salary + Year 1 @ plan $100,000 - $125,000
  • Year 2 @ plan to $150,000 - $200,000
  • Uncapped Commissions
