The Corporate Farm Executive role, as an invaluable member of the organization, must have vision, drive, creativity, and interpersonal skills to meet the Company’s financial objectives. This role will have accountability to the Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for being a key partner to large, corporate farms and driving awareness, and ultimately sales, of AgBiome’s proprietary products. This position requires a broad understanding of the business model and the role corporate farms play in the entire agricultural/food value chain. The ideal candidate has a solid grounding in the crops and farming techniques of the assigned target geographies.
AgBiome launched its first biological product HowlerⓇ fungicide in 2019 and plans to launch its next biological fungicide Theia in 2021. In addition to these initial launches, the company has a rich pipeline of biological products currently in various Research and Development phases.
The Corporate Farm Executive is responsible for creating and developing annual business plans with target customers, forecasting and achieving sales of Agricultural products to deliver profit and sales goals according to a monthly budget as part of the Revenue Generation Team. This will be done as part of an integrated go-to-market strategy with the Commercial AgBiome team and will include the negotiation of sales targets, achieving sales at an acceptable margin, and the launch of new products.
The Corporate Farm Executive position is entirely field-based. Periodically there may be significant travel to both Customer locations and to AgBiome headquarters in Research Triangle Park, NC.
