Job Description:

The Account Executive is responsible for servicing the needs of assigned clients within a book of business to meet or exceed client satisfaction. This position has no direct reports.


  • Manage client retention, client contract renewal process, and ongoing profitability
  • Oversee total account service to ensure that the company meets or exceeds client satisfaction
  • Liaise with consultants and brokers to manage expectations for client service delivery
  • Lead internal account team coordination
  • Primary point of contact for our clients in communicating outcome of escalated issues
  • Manage and deliver in-person and telephonic benefit reviews
  • Serve as client subject matter expert for in-depth knowledge of products and services and communicate them effectively to clients
  • Manage client reporting requests through proficient use of company reporting tools
  • Lead client calls and delegate and track meeting follow ups
  • Monitor delivery of regularly scheduled reports to ensure timeliness
  • Support the sales process by attending best and final presentations as needed
  • Provide input and market intelligence for development of products, services, and competitive positioning on an ad hoc basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Experience and Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business or related field; proven industry experience will be acceptable in lieu of degree
  • A knowledgeable individual with appropriate industry experience, preferably in the wellness industry
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years large account management or senior sales related experience
  • Project management experience
  • Strong data analysis, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to exercise considerable judgment, maintain confidentiality, and act in a diplomatic manner
  • A good educator who is trustworthy, willing to share information, and serve as a mentor
  • Ability to independently identify, research, and resolve issues
  • An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills
  • An excellent facilitator who is experienced in resolving conflicts between different parties to a dispute
  • A decisive individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation, and detail oriented perspective
  • A strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus
  • Ability to work with peers in a team effort
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • A well-organized and self-directed individual who can work with minimal amount of supervision
  • Capability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry related software programs
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant with industry demands
  • Willingness to travel
