Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, motivated and results-oriented
Account Executive to join our team. This role is critical in driving the growth and expansion of our government contracting portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in identifying and capturing new business opportunities within the DoD and other government sectors, with a good understanding of the federal acquisition process and a network of contacts across various DoD agencies and Industry.
Key Responsibilities: - Contribute, develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to identify and pursue new opportunities within the DoD market space.
- Support capture efforts for opportunities, including developing capture plans, building and managing winning teams comprised of industry partners, and supporting the proposal development process.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within government agencies and industry partners to facilitate business growth and enhance our competitive position.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with company goals and priorities.
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations, technical, finance, and compliance, to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance our visibility and establish thought leadership in the government contracting community.
- Accurately and consistently enter all relevant opportunity data into the BD/Capture system, including customer information, opportunity details, key milestones, and competitive intelligence, ensuring data integrity and timely updates.
Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience in business development and capture management within the government contracting industry, with a strong focus on Medical IT, Army and Air Force.
- Demonstrated recent success in shaping and winning large-scale contracts that drove revenue growth in a competitive environment.
- Deep understanding of the federal acquisition process, including FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations.
- Established network of contacts within government agencies, prime contractors, and industry partners.
- Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
- Experience leading and managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Desired - Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one is highly desirable.
