WWD’s parent company, Penske Media Corporation (PMC), is a leadingdigital media company,publishing, and information Services Company founded in 2003. WWD is seeking a West CoastAccount Director with a minimum of 3-5years of media sellingexperience to selldigital, social, print, andevents into its b2b and b2c properties.  This is a home office based position with lighttravel expectations to LA and NYC The ideal candidate will have in–depth knowledge ofdigital sales, excellent communication skills, will be a creative thinker, self-motivated, and energetic seller who is confident and comfortable calling on all levels at both the client and the agency.   

  • Tech categoryexperience a plus
  • Ability to call on all stakeholders, including client, agency, PR and create productive, long-term relationships  
  • Approach clients with solution based sales strategies
  • Ability to grow business and develop new revenue opportunities
  • Perform well in a competitive sales environment.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong negotiation skills
  • Must be flexible and move quickly when opportunities strike
  • Prepare proposals via the RFP process
  • Maintain constant contact with client before, during, and after the sale to establish and positively manage the business relationship
  • Creative thinker who approaches business from a client solutions perspective
  • PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce experience a plus
