JOB DUTIES:

 

  • Responsible for meeting the production and quality goals of the Site, as well as playing a key role in the company-wide profitability and customer satisfaction goals. 
  • Monitor quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all orders to ensure customer commitments are met through production of high quality material that meets customer delivery expectations.
  • Ensures that all materials, documents and equipment meet production and business objectives.  Analyze present and future needs and initiate actions to meet those needs.
  • Develop, coordinate and execute projects, plans and programs related to production functions.
  • Develop procedures and techniques to optimize operations.
  • Responsible for the adherence of internal procedures, policies and documentation requirements.  Ensure that the production staff is trained to our quality policies and procedures.
  • Supports and contributes to the development of the company platform and best practices, shares information and knowledge with sales, direct reports and customer staff as appropriate.
  • Develops and maintains an effective and involved workforce through performance leadership and employee involvement; driving creative growth, education, communications and policies which support inclusion and team effectiveness.
  • Coaches, develops and supervises a staff of on-site professionals engaged in operational support.
  • Supports all continuous improvement activities at the Site.
  • Profit and Loss management of Site.
  • Assign duties to staff as necessary to accomplish special projects or multi-department activities.
  • Perform related duties, special projects and/or other functions as required while meeting deadline requirements and cost targets.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor/graduate degree in graphic arts/business or related technology or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of experience and success in a high volume, fast paced direct marketing environment—Omni-channelexperience a plus.
  • Ensure all materials, documents and equipment meet production and business objectives. Analyze present and future needs and initiate actions to meet those needs.
  • Prove leadership and management experience in art production, prepress or related business.
  • Develop/coordinate and execute projects, plans and programs relating to design and production functions.
  • Coordinate design and production activities to ensure daily and monthly goals are met.
  • Ensure efficiency and cost reduction through optimum utilization of resources and on going evaluation and improvement of methods and systems. Develop procedures and techniques to optimize operations.
  • Responsible for the adherence of internal procedures, policies, documentation requirements. Ensure the production staff is trained to our quality policies and procedures.
  • Analyze staffing requirements and responsibilities related to business needs and forecasts. Establish the operating hours and coordinate work schedules for employees.
  • Perform related duties, special projects and/or other functions (including assisting in other departments) as required.
  • Assign duties to the staff as necessary to accomplish special projects or multi-department activities.
