Responsibilities:
General
• Embody and reflect Intersport’s performance-based culture and commit him/herself and team to the highest standards for all agency work
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver planning and executional excellence

Client Management & Communication
• Demonstrate an understanding and a passion for his/her clients’ industry, business, brand, and consumer target(s)
• Establish him/herself as a trusted strategic business partner to the client
• Demonstrate leadership in meetings and client interaction

Business Leadership and Planning
• Oversee various initiatives across client’s sports and entertainment marketing portfolio, as well apply focus on sponsorship management, sponsorship strategy, activation planning and execution, as well as sponsorship measurement
• Lead client’s relationships in the areas of professional golf, a personal services relationship with a professional golfer, collegiate athletics, esports, and team properties within professional sports
• Guide brainstorming and idea generation sessions with cross-functional teams
• Oversee vendor relationships, including contracts, negotiations and oversight of the deliverables and quality of work

Reporting and Analysis
• Act as the authority on program and partner review debriefings and analyze and evaluate individual programs and partnerships
• Oversee valuations and points-of-view for current partnerships and new partnership opportunities with Intersport’s Insights and Strategy team
• Work with internal account team to adapt programming with brand, consumer, and in-market learnings
• Serve as a subject matter expert on market and related industry trends, sponsorship landscape, and competitive activities and proactively communicate insights and experiences with colleagues and clients

Budget & Financial Management
• Lead scope, client billings, and account team hours tracking
• Ensure comprehensive budget management, including development and management of program budgets to achieve client needs and remain on-budget, along with clear, timely and accurate financial reporting (internally and to the client)

Team Management
• Work collaboratively with all members of integrated team
• Manage, train, and mentor the SAE and AAE with responsibility for goal setting, feedback, and constructive guidance
• Ensure supporting team members produces quality work, including research and competitive analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in a plus
• Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in a marketing role at an agency, brand, media company, sports or entertainment property, or related organization
• Direct experience in sponsorship marketing, inclusive of sports and entertainment
• Expertise one or more focal areas of professional golf, collegiate athletics, esports, and team properties within professional sports
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the sports and entertainment marketing landscape, specifically sponsorship marketing
• Ability to manage clients and oversee account team in the midst of multiple programs/projects concurrently in a fast-paced and high-intensity work environment
• Proven effectiveness in managing and mentoring junior team members
• Application of superior prioritization and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive, team player with a strong work ethic
• Exemplary written and oral communication skills with proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel
• Ability to travel for business on trips typically lasting between two to five days
