Position Summary
This strategic quota-carrying sales role will have end to end ownership for four highly strategic enterprise accounts. Key responsibilities are a hybrid of the Strategic Account Executive & Global Account Management roles which include overall relationship management, upsell, renewals and retention, as well as customer satisfaction & success. This role will also partner 1:1 with a dedicated Customer Success Manager focused on supporting the customer relationship and driving adoption.

This position is an Individual Contributor and reports to the regional Vice President for Enterprise Sales within the Insurance vertical.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for relationship management and influence strategy with key account decision makers aligned to a set of an average of 4 larger accounts
  • Develop and implement customer account plan and relational strategy
  • Lead DocuSign extended sales team in strategically selling and expanding customer use cases, and, manage overall customer baseline growth including upsell, renewals and retention
  • Partner with Customer Success on overall account health, strategic planning and progress
  • Consistently seek new Enterprise business opportunities by presenting, recommending and upselling new DocuSign products, services and partner solutions
  • Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement through proper use of sales tools Strategically influence, navigate, maintain and manage small set of key accounts with a high current spend to DocuSign

Basic Qualifications

  • 7 - 10 years demonstrated success selling into and managing large software Enterprise level Accounts in a quota-carrying capacity
  • BA/BS in a business or a technical related field of study from an accredited college or university
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently generate revenue & exceed quota by managing process for identifying, qualifying, & closing new business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills – includes attention to detail and reporting accuracy
  • Ability to travel upwards of 30% or more as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10 - 15 years demonstrated success selling into large, complex Enterprise level Accounts, ideally within cloud-based SaaS solutions
  • Prior experience selling cloud-based solutions ideal
  • Proven track record of success in closing Enterprise SaaS sales opportunities from start through to completion with large customers
  • Current network of contacts within high profile Insurance customers also ideal
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully resolve situations that are broadly defined, complex, diverse, & occasionally, unprecedented
  • Demonstrated ability to identify new, creative ways to drive more businesses to purchase & utilize DocuSign’s diverse solution suite
