DEG is seeking an experienced Account Director to facilitate and expand customer relationships. The Account Director is responsible for overseeing and leading effective relationships across agency departments and industry relationships.The Account Director serves as the primary point of contact for major, multi-channel clients of DEG. As such, the Account Director is charged with fully understanding clients’ business objectives, business situation (including performance metrics, competitive landscape, financial considerations, and long-term vision), organizational structure and key contacts. The Account Director is responsible for crafting, articulating, and ensuring the successful delivery of various digital strategies, tactics and solutions to advance the objectives of clients. The Account Director should interact with clients and internal partners as both an effective project manager and strategic partner who helps clarify and develop project objectives, identify challenges, and guides the creation of outcome based strategies and metrics for success. By serving as an account owner, they have the overall responsibility for all finished products/services and results that achieve client goals.
Additionally, the Account Director is the primary point of contact that is responsible for facilitating and expanding client relationships for activities related to marketing campaigns and programs for accounts that serve single and/or multi-channel clients with exposure and opportunities to collaborate on new business.
Account Directors must identify opportunities for incremental growth. They should have a get-it-done mentality because a key component of this role is translating the strategic vision of the client to execution of deliverables that drive value. They are responsible for ensuring success across all functional teams and overall client delivery. Financial responsibilities include revenue/budget management, such as tracking billing and expenses for the jobs and accounts managed. Candidates must be prepared for a fast-paced environment, be comfortable making decisions, and leading teams.
