Regional engineering services company involved in evaluation, design and maintenance of AC Interference Mitigation, Cathodic Protection Systems (Galvanic and Impressed Current), and other corrosion control systems seeks an electrical engineer with experience analyzing and designing AC Mitigation Systems for pipelines and otherinfrastructuresharing right of way corridors with high voltage transmission lines.
Requires electrical engineer with solid knowledge of: Soil resistivity analysis and soil structure interpretation; Soil and geologic structure and grounding analysis; Line constants for complex pipe-enclosed cable arrangements and buried and overhead conductors; Load, fault & transient current distribution; Cathodic protection analysis of complex buried networks; Inductive, conductive and capacitive interference in shared corridors; and Frequency and time domain analysis of electromagnetic fields generated by substations, transmission & distribution lines, industrial plants, etc.
Shall provide engineeringsupport to team involved in: Infrastructure (pipeline, water mains, sewer lines, bridges, dams, etc.) field inspections and sampling; Data collection, organizing and modeling; High voltage transmission analysis and AC & DC Interference Modeling; High Voltage AC Current Interference Mitigation and Cathodic Protection System design; Systems component sourcing; Fabrication and installation; and Systems management and maintenance.
