In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions, you'll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.

The ABI (Activity Based Intelligence ) Systems Engineer (SE) will serve as the lead ABI subject matter expert (SME) as part of an elite and agile Operations and Sustainment (O&S) team responsible for multiple GEOINT mission-critical production systems and capabilities. The ABI SE will also provide system administration, project planning and management, and program management support.

As the SME, the ABI SE's primary role will be Infrastructure Support Provider / Application Support Provider (ISP/ASP), system administration, support to the customer's ABI production system, and the web based application that supports data discovery and geo-temporal filtering to assist in visualizing patterns or anomalies. Support will include security maintenance and coordination including ISP/ASP patch updates. The ABI SE will be responsible for interaction with the customer analysts and should possess a fundamental knowledge of data exploitation and enterprise applications, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the DoD/IC agency's mission. The successful candidate will need to be able to prepare technical documentation accurately depicting customer requirements, issues, and/or concerns.

Responsibilities include:

  • Daily ABI system health and status verification
  • Discrepancy Report (DRs) and management including identification, investigation, and resolution
  • Metrics and statistics reporting
  • Create ABI products and services as directed by customer's mission needs
  • Development team coordination and participation in DevOps Methodology planning
  • Interact with customer analysts to solve ABI problems, concerns, and provided ad hoc training on the ABI UI application
  • Provide input to management and milestone reviews including Contract Status Reviews (CSR), Business Management Reviews (BMR), Program Management Reviews (PMR)
  • Lead response team tasked with providing impacts to Request for Change (RFC), Engineering Change Proposal (ECP), and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM)
  • Participates in Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, as needed, along with beneficial Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) that focus on customer and analysts requirements
  • Project Management support, including risk management and scheduling impacts and assessments

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

  • Security+ certification required
  • Understanding of Activity Based Intelligence (ABI) phenomenology and applications
  • O/S system administration experience with Windows & Unix
  • AWS Cloud computing experience
  • Ability to lead and work effectively across multiple team members or teams within organizational boundaries
  • Experience with the developmental DevOps methodology
  • Experience in one or more disciplines of GEOINT analytic tradecraft and analysis production system development
  • Oracle Database Administration experience
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at multiple locations and multiple deadlines
  • Experience with exploitation tools including SOCET GXP and Remote View
  • Must be able to communicate effectively (written and oral) across multiple teams and with senior company and customer management
  • Ability to provide 24x7 support including on-call requirements
  • Capable of developing and executing test plans, procedures, and monitoring results
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
  • Substantial knowledge of IT security concepts and practices

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Working knowledge of ESRI geospatial applications including Enterprise, ArcMAP, and ArcCatalog
  • Identify Entity requirements and plan based on customer needs, technology, interfaces, and operational considerations
  • Experienced in systems operations and specific tools to optimize solutions
  • Experience with the Government Customer's programs and facilities
  • Familiarity with our Government Customer's processes, procedures, and production systems
