Job Description

The Oncology Continuum Solutions (OCS) team is looking to grow our Oncology SaaS business portfolio. We have a startup culture, but part of an established global medical device market share leader. Our team is looking to bring in an experienced professional in a Senior Program Manager capacity. The Senior Program Manager will play a critical role in the delivery of latest cloud based 360 Oncology Care Management platform. This position provides a unique opportunity to work with globally dispersed teams and help bring this unique oncology specific solution to market on time and on budget.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will:

  • Facilitate successful program definition, planning, budgeting, scheduling, resourcing in leading high-performance project teams for overall 360 Oncology Care Management Platform
  • Manage program within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints
  • Create and execute work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and program demands
  • Form strong project team relationships by leading, coaching, and motivating team members, and identifying and resolving blockers or conflicts
  • Coordinate the efforts of team members from engineering, product management and commercialization into a coordinated program effort
  • Ensure program documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Manage program scope by ensuring any changes are documented and approved through a change control process
  • Proactively identify program issues and risks and create successful action plans for resolving issues and mitigating risks
  • Track and report on program milestones and provide status reports to program teams, and other program stakeholders
  • Proactively set and manage program team expectations
  • Build strong relationships with project managers, engineering, product management and commercialization teams and develop a deep understanding of their business objectives
  • Take on other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • BS degree in a related technical field
  • 10+ years of experience managing large, complex and transformative IT projects and programs such as software development, data center migrations or cloud computing strategies
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification; if PMP is not currently held, successful attainment will be required by first year anniversary

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Has in-depth experience with key practices, processes and methodologies applicable to program management
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in managing healthcare IT or SaaS programs. Must have demonstrated aptitude to understand a variety of technical domains and strategies regarding opportunities, challenges, risks and business impact
  • Strong facilitation skills with demonstrated experience leading scoping and design sessions, managing geographically-dispersed teams and identifying and resolving client and team risks and conflicts
  • Highly organized with proven ability to handle multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and make things happen in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Demonstrated experience working in unstructured environments that required designing and implementing creative program management methodologies
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a natural ability to motivate and work well with others
  • Agile approach in personal workstyle, with ability to be flexible and adept in dealing with and resolving ambiguity
  • Track record of building successful relationships, internally and externally
  • Detailed oriented with a flair for problem solving
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills, including creating usable documentation and tools
  • Ability to travel and work at product development locations
