An RN on the 4H Neuro/Spine unit at Blodgett will be responsible and accountable for, but not limited to, the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. An RN will be collaborating with the Nurse Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
They will use clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat the patient's responses to actual or potential health conditions, as well as, assess, monitor, detect, plan, and take appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications associated with specific health problems and/or medical treatment.
Neuro/Spine (3H - Blodgett)
-Nurse to Patient Ratio: 4 to 6 Patients to a Nurse (Subject to Change)
-Population: post-operative spine surgery patients, stroke, migraines, multiple sclerosis, and small med-surg over flow.
-Orientation: Orientation is based on individual needs. The length can vary and be adjusted if needed. Orientation is started on days, and then you’re transferred to hired shift.

Education - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) must be obtained within 4 years of hire
Experience - Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program
Licenses - Registered Nurse (RN) *State of Michigan
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 Days of hire
