Comfort salary range is 120 to 130K plus bonus.
Client is seeking an accomplished, motivated HR Director to join our team. The right candidate is highly experienced in partnering with business leaders on human capital issues including performance management, employee relations, staffing strategies, training and development. The ideal candidate will be detailed oriented, a self starter, enjoys multi-tasking, is flexible and understands the importance of accurate and timely work in addition to innovative solutions/problem solving. The HR Director is responsible for handling employee issues from inception to resolution and being able to think creatively to provide effective solutions while providing exceptional customer service with regard to day-to-day issues and inquiries regarding Company policies and procedures. Expectations include developing strong professional relationships with the Company’s managers and employees; possessing excellent problem identification and problem solving ability, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills; demonstrating good judgment in every aspect of the HR Director role; and being creative and ambitious while fitting into our innovative environment.
Essential Job Functions
•Build effective relationships and partnerships with employees to drive the company culture of high performance
•Analyze HR process and make recommendations for improvements via the use of the latest technology
•Prepare various scheduled and ad hoc reports of employee data contained in the HRIS in response to request from within HR, and from other company departments
•Develop supportive relationships with otherHR team members to act as liaison to other departments and support growing company
•Respond to HR related employee inquiries, identify common HR issues and assist with the development of solutions
•Design and implement leadership development courses for managers, supervisors, and high potential employees
•Partner with business leader on human capital issues such as performance reviews, staffing strategies, talent management and other items
•Communicate with employees and answer employee questions as they relate to policies, procedures, benefits, compensation, training and many other topics
•Partner withHR Team as well as our external HR partners and internal executives on HR related projects and key deliverables
•Bring new, best-in-class ideas to the surface that will enable the business to strengthen and grow
•Responsible for remaining up to date on relevant federal employment laws and other human resources compliance issues.
•Administer human resource policies and procedures which are consistent with corporate policies and practices and which with encourage a high standard of individual and group performance.
•Coach managers/supervisors on interpretation and implementation of relevant HR policies, procedures and programs
•Provide advice and counsel to management regarding all people related and organizational issues; manage all aspects of employee relations including investigations, counseling to management and employees, conflict mediation and resolution, etc.
•Oversee exit interview process, analyze data for trends and make necessary recommendations to management team
•Coordinate Compensation Programs and ensure internal equity and worker classifications
•Work with VP of Human Resources to determine, develop and implement training programs to strengthen competencies across the business
•BA/BS degree in HR related field
•Minimum 7-10 years of related experience as an HR Manager or Director in a growth environment with increasingly progressive responsibilities. Experience working in a company with 3000+ employees. Management experiencerequired.
•Experience with employee engagement (including engagement surveys) and competency development/implementation
•PHR or SPHR certification preferred
•Must possess strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Working knowledge of EEO Federal employment laws with knowledge of multi-state requirements.
•Strong knowledge of ADA, FLSA, FMLA, EEO and other general employment laws
