Parsons is seeking a Chief Construction Estimator for large, high-profile heavy civil infrastructure construction projects.  The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams of estimators on large (200MM – 1 Billion) civil infrastructure programs that include heavy earthwork and take off requirements.  This Chief Construction Estimator will manage a Parsons estimating team in the development of aggressive project bids that withstand the scrutiny of internal and joint venture reviews.  Experience liaising with clients, knowledge of sub-contractors, negotiating with vendors, pricing and demonstrable experience in determining the best means and methods of delivery are expected at this level.  This person will be a senior member of our pursuit team. The successful candidate will be well familiar in labor and trade work practices and union requirements. This person will be centered in our Westminster CO. office.  


  • 20 years’ experience in estimating for a multi-disciplinary self-perform heavy civil contractor.
  • Experience managing estimating teams.
  • Heavy civil estimating experience on $200M + Design Build and Bid-Build projects.
  • Knowledge of HCSS Heavy Bid Estimating preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
