The Inside Sales Manager, Protection is a driven, enthusiastic leader who will be accountable for ensuring annual sales objectives and marketing campaign support initiatives are realized, as well as, ongoing leadership of a team of Licensed Insurance Advisors.  Promoting and maintaining a highly energized, developmentally charged team culture by proactively coaching, supporting and educating new and existing advisors.

  Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for ensuring that sales results are met by achieving targets for specific product lines (Health & Dental, Life, Travel)
  • Provide leadership, coaching, motivation and support to team of 8-12 Licensed Insurance Advisors
  • Accountable forsales team mgmt. with major focus onsales coaching for aninternal phone-basedsalesteam
    • Call Coaching – Daily
    • Formal Call Reviews and Coaching – Weekly (documented)
    • Side by side coaching/call shadowing - Weekly
  • Conduct mid and year end performance reviews for Licensed Insurance Advisors
  • Minimize and resolve customer escalations
  • Recruiting
  • Proactively share knowledge and best practices to ensure team objectives are met

 

Qualifications

  

  • Minimum 5 years of in a telephone/and or insurance sales
  • Minimum of 2+ year’s experience in a sales manager role, experience leading teams of sales professionals in a call centre environment is an asset
  • LLQP licensed or willing to complete within 6 months of hire
  • Strong knowledge of risk management/protection products and services – Health + Dental, Life, Critical Illness Ins., Travel Ins. etc.
  • Ability to work independently in an open office environment managing a sales team to exceed targets
  • Passion for doing what’s right for the customer
  • French language strongly preferred
