The Commercial Manager will drive regional business development, structure winning deals, and develop customer relationships that will result in delivering growth throughout the region.


• Lead regional deal negotiations for all aspects of contracts, including pricing and terms and conditions
• Deliver revenue growth and profits through timely and compliant delivery of requests for proposals, sales proposals, and contracts
• Develop and execute business development initiatives that align with regional and global business plans
• Balance the overall business and risk factors around deals to ensure growth while managing the risk/reward profile
• Challenge and construct financial models that are accurate and relevant for deals and for FieldCore
• Partner with regional leadership in identifying new opportunities and creating sales analysis
• Present recommendations on high-risk projects to senior management for approval prior to quotation
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, HR and Operations departments to address customer driven exceptions for contracts
• Support timely, accurate, and compliant implementation and administration of contracts
• Conduct financial, marketing and operational analyses of contracts and pricing related to performance
• Institutionalize contractual processes within the assigned region
• Ensure that standard company procedures are followed in contracting practices
• Track and provide report out on specific business metrics established by management
• Maintain databases and dashboards on contracts negotiation
• Coordinate and prepare client/prospect research
• Perform other duties as assigned


• Lead and manage effectively in a matrix organization
• Proven ability to drive behaviors that win deals by thinking strategically, critically and creatively
• Business and financial acumen
• Ability to understand global business strategies and apply them at a regional level
• Experience in reviewing contractual documents for accuracy, adherence to agreements, and compliance with regional laws and regulations, in addition to business operating principles
• Challenge the status quo within FieldCore and GE
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across various levels of internal and external parties
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of commercial and supplier contract terms and conditions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Minimal travel required


• Seven to ten years of commercial, business development, sales or other related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field required
• Master’s degree preferred
• Energy, construction, engineering or related experience desirable
