Job Summary: The Clinical Manager is an optimistic, enthusiastic nurse leader who is responsible for coordinating clinical practice and providing quality patient care by utilizing the PinnacleHealth Professional Practice Model. The Clinical Manager provides direct patient care, facilitates staff development, provides feedback to the Nurse Manager regarding staff performance and provides leadership to the entire patient care team. The Clinical Manager collaborates with the Nurse Manager to meet the strategic management goals of both the unit and PinnacleHealth System.
Job Requirements: Current active Pennsylvania RN license. BSN or actively pursuing a BSN and completed within 2 years. Minimum of three years' clinical nursing experience in specific specialty area with a sound knowledge base. Must demonstrate strong leadership skills and clinical competency. Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year of hire in the following areas: Emergency, ICU, Cardiac Telemetry (WS3, CG4, M6, M7). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year of hire for Emergency and Pediatrics. Neonatal Resuscitation Program within one year of hire for Labor & Delivery, NICU, Maternity and Antepartum. National Institute of Health Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of hire in the following areas: Emergency, HHMSICU, CGICU, WSICU, HHM10, WS4, CG2.
Preferred Qualifications: Certification in specialty preferred but expected within 1 year of hire into the Clinical Manager role.
