Write a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses. May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the document production. Conduct interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation. Research and translate technical information into manuals and/or web-based documents for nontechnical and technical users. May document engineering processes and specifications. Recommend formats responsive to technical and customer requirements. Produce products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Provide ongoing project support for the Government’s Naval Ordnance Information System.
Required Skills -Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain necessary clearance. -Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. -6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. -Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. -Knowledgeable about DoD Instruction 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT). -Ability to provide documentation support for Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) findings. -Experience developing various technical documents including the following: IT architecture diagrams, processes and procedures for Database Administration, Systems Administration, Web Portal/Middleware Administration, IT Operations, Software Engineering Development, and the Customer Support (Helpdesk Guides). -Ability to travel as necessary. This position supports a U.S. Government contract whose terms require that applicants possess U.S. Citizenship.
