Are you a Corporate Accounting Manager or Corporate Assistant Controller with a CPA who wants to play a key financial role for a global, publicly-held company? Are you a Corporate Accounting Manager or Corporate Assistant Controller who has experience in a multi-plant environment? If you can answer "yes" to these questions, you should consider this opportunity.

Our client is a $350M global manufacturer with 16locations worldwide. Our client has been in business for over 95years and sells its products in 65 countries. As Corporate Accounting Manager with three direct reports in a shared services environment, you will be responsible for managing the corporate accounting and transaction systems, company consolidations, and financialreporting and procedures within a SOX -compliant control structure.

As Corporate Accounting Manger you will:

  • Manage the corporate financial statement close process
  • Prepare the consolidation of subsidiary domestic and foreign business units
  • In coordination with the Corporate Accounting Team, develop and maintain accounting policies and practices which meet US and local GAAP Accounting and Sarbanes-Oxley Control requirements
  • Lead the shared service function for accounts payable and credit/collections
  • Support the completion of internal and external audits
  • Identify and lead process improvement projects to automate and streamline current accounting and reporting procedures
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis of financial information, accounting systems and financial controls
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Special Projects as assigned

Your background MUST include:

  • BS/MS in accounting
  • CPA
  • MBA is preferred
  • 10+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong financial accounting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and facilitate teams
  • Advanced skills with accounting and financial consolidations systems
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to anticipate changing business needs and potential external risks
  • Proven people management skills and ability to develop a team.

Base Salary: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 + (DOE)

Bonus: 20% or higher based on performance
