What You Need

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated management, supervisory and/or technical lead experience in Security, Safeguards, and/or Emergency Operations disciplines and/or related experience.

  • Successful experience in leading teams in executing an integrated program through tactical execution of overarching directorate-level strategic planning, the development and scheduling of performance objectives, and meeting related milestones.

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Contractor Assurance related contractual requirements and associated Performance Assurance policies, and experience with interpretation and application of said requirements to existing Security, Safeguards, & Emergency Operations functional areas, services, and products.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and leading program inspections/assessments/surveys, and developing effective corrective actions that arespecific, measurable, accountable, reasonable, timely, effective, and resilient/sustainable – including causal and root analyses, extent of condition evaluations and effectiveness evaluations.

  • Proven track record of attracting, evaluating, mentoring, and developing creative, talented people.

  • Excellent organizational skills for project planning, execution and management, and financial resource and personnel management.

  • Demonstrated client/customer focus, team building skills, business acumen and orientation, and a focus on results.

  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills as evidenced by internal and external interactions, including briefings and presentations.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity and experience implementing DOE Order 226.1B, DOE Order 470.4B, NAP-21, P322-4 and SD 320.

  • Experience developing, tracking and trending organizational performance indicators necessary to identify adverse trends.

  • Experience managing the contents of the DOE Safeguards and Security Information Management System (SSIMS).

  • Experience developing an effective training program for Group issues management coordinators that are deployed in support of ADMASER Divisions.

Education: Bachelor's degree in security management, emergency operations, business, science, engineering, or social sciences, and a minimum five years of related management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
