The Project & Technical Lead supports the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa/Asia) team with provides design, consulting, estimating & project management services onproject business for 3form.

The EMEA Project & Technical Lead provides design, consulting & estimating services on project business for assigned EMEA sales coordinators, sales teams & their external customers which include architects, interior designers & contractors (typ: joinery & millwork). A creative, international thinker, with the ability to balance conformance tocustomer requirements/design intent, with 3form’s manufacturing & service capabilities, the P&TL coordinates with US based teams and resources in the fabrication, manufacturing, product management & client services departments. May act asrepresentative for EMEA on select projects in conjunction with other departments (ie. IT, Marketing). As a connector in the 3form organization, the P&TL has highorganizational visibility, with responsibility for preparing shared learnings & organizational updates with EMEA team. 

Responsibilities and Duties:
Design Consulting & Estimating Services:
Works with sales reps & clients to understand needs & provide design recommendations on product & material solutions, application of materials, hardware, fabrication & lighting. 
Reviews client drawings, specifications, customer supplied field info.
Develops conceptual drawings & budgetary pricing in the design phase for customerapproval.
Develops finished working drawings & specifications for installation; validates plans against construction, electrical, A & D drawing sets; obtains customer approval.
Produces order-ready specifications utilizing 3form technology; verifies accuracy & correctness.
Provides Budgetary Pricing, Design Quoting & Client Pricing for custom solutions. 
Delivers plans & information to sales coordinator & sales reps for presentation to client for review & approval.
Manages change order, revisions, clarifications & order-edit processes.
Provide installation instruction where required.
Departmental Practices:
Maintain detailed project documentation in internal CRM (my3form) including; records of key meetings & decisions, approvals & sign-offs, drawing files, fabrication files etc. 
Manages adherence to project schedule & budgets.
Prompt handling of RFI/RFQ’s, communicating regularly about status.
Ensures complete & accurate plans/specifications are order ready.
Conduct & arrange organizational interfaces with; client, A&D firms, contractors, projectmanagers, sales reps, client services, internal operations personnel & installation crews.
Coordinate with various internal departments to reach customer goals & maintain schedules.
Assist Warranty & Claims lead in resolving issues causing remakes
Attend US-based Client Services Dept Meetings and reports learnings to EMEA team.
Attend weekly EMEA sales & EMEA client services calls.
Maintains daily timesheets.
Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks required.
Computer skills - Intermediate level:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
G-mail (e-mail, calendar)
Solid interpersonal skills that enhance an international team environment.
Communicate clearly & professionally, verbally & in writing.
Ability to recognize, understand & prepare technical specifications, architectural drawings & construction documents.
Knowledge of best practices for millwork, custom cabinetry, lighting a plus
Understands A&D industry standards including submittal output & constructionsequencing.
Develops a working knowledge of applicable international building codes & standards.
Excellent problem solving ability & follow through with a sense of urgency.
Strong attention to detail & highly organized.
Works well under pressure in ambiguous conditions; excels at multi-tasking & prioritizing work flow. 

French, German or Dutch 

Level of Education/Training/License:
BS/BA/BFA design/technical degree is desired. 2+ year design/technical degreeplus work experience level may suffice.
Technical training in: interior, architectural, industrial design, construction, or facilities management required.

Design or construction experience preferred
3+ years experience in design or estimating

Safety and Security:
Observes safety & security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment & materials properly, Wear PPE and following all safety directives. Reports any safety hazards to supervisor.

Computer programs: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Gmail, Internal CRM (my3form), InternalOrder Placement Systems (ICE), 3form Website

Up to 10 Weeks initial immersion training (if needed)
Potential travel to EMEA for Rep Travel or Meetings.
