ADARA is seeking an experienced online advertising sales professional who can help marketers solve their challenges using our real time and proprietary data. The Account Executive - Sales Director will be responsible for growing and scaling advertising revenue across our RTB inventory, PMP and on-site placements, while building awareness of ADARA in the marketplace.   The candidate must be able to demonstrate success in developing, managing and growing a book of business.  Understanding and experience within the programmatic marketplace is required.   Experience in the travel sector is a plus as are strong relationshipswith local media agencies.The ideal candidate will also be a strategic, creative thinker who is self-motivated and goal-oriented.   The candidate must be passionate about delivering successful campaigns for advertisers using data and media; he/she must also have exceptional skills in using insights and analytics in a consultative approach to build ADARA’s business with advertisers across the region.  
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with sales management to develop and execute strategic sales plan. 
  • Develop, manage and scale advertising revenue in territory through both ad agencies and direct clients.
  • Prospect for new business; upsell current business.
  • Work with Account Management, Ad Operations, Analytics to pitch, launch and execute campaigns, deliver insights, and renew business. 
  • Work with Product team to provide real time client feedback and develop successful ad products.
  • Deliver the ADARA story through persuasive presentations to clients and agencies; participate at industry events, where necessary.
  • Meet and exceed aggressive sales targets on a quarterly basis 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • years of experience in online ad sales and experience calling on both direct clients and agencies.  Programmatic experiencerequired.
  • Passionate about online advertising and travel.
  • Self-motivated, with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong ambition to help build and establish a business from the ground up.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with other people and departments in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills.
