Job Summary Responsible for designing, installing, maintaining and supporting networks, voice and wireless infrastructure within ABL and between ABL and other companies. Ensure the smooth operation of ABL network infrastructure so we can provide maximum performance and availability. Develop specifications for networks, voice and wireless infrastructure products, and formulate implementation plans involving many cross functional areas - ensuring that required functionality is achieved, while minimizing both long and short term costs. Evaluate future network requirements and work closely with vendors to form strategic relationships to implement long term solutions. Responsible for 3rd level support on network, voice and wireless infrastructure. Train other group members on areas of expertise as requested and lead project teams with minimal supervision.
Design, implement and maintain corporate infrastructure (LAN's, WAN's, MAN's) utilizing firewalls, VPN's, Routers, and other technology. 20%
Design implement and maintain corporate wireless LAN. 20%
Design implement and maintain corporate phone infrastructure. (Cisco UC, Call Center Infrastructure, Fax, SIP Trunks and SIP Gateways) 20%
Maintain professional expertise by attending outside seminars, training, and review of materials in pursuit of industry certifications. 15%
Attend meetings and provide input and recommendations for issues that have an impact on corporate voice, wireless LAN and LAN infrastructure. 10%
Provide third level support for voice, wireless LAN and LAN infrastructure 5%
Monitor network, voice, wireless infrastructure for proper configuration and procedures. 5%

Expert troubleshooting skills for wireless, voice and data network devices (Sniffer, analyzer, etc). CCNA, JNCIA or other equal vendor certifications. Expert level use of Visio and MS office.
