Moen has a new opening for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Wholesale Business Team.

Job Description:


Reporting and Analysis

  • Act as primary point of contact for Marketing (Retail)  or Business Segment (Wholesale) for Business Performance and analytics needs
  • Support the strategic decision-making processes by defining, monitoring and reporting key metrics; Continue to evolve key metrics as business strategies and objectives evolve
  • Sense and identify new and emerging trends from analysis of data. Develop insights into how these trends may impact business performance. Present these insights to the Business Unit
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT in problem solving sessions, particularly in defining problem statements and building the fact basis needed to create recommendations
  • Play a key role in generating solutions to complex business problems by mining data and reports to yield relevant, actionable insights
  • Partner withexperienced peers or Managers to:
    • Identify needs for new analytics tools. Develop and modify these tools to provide current key metrics and insights to the Business Unit.
    • Combine internal and external data sources to understand the competitive landscape and prioritize opportunities to differentiate Moen in the market.
  • Track and measure performance of marketing / merchandizing investments (e.g. promotions)
  • Support ad hoc analysis requirements based on business priority

Business Intelligence (BI) Development

  • Identify, prioritize and lead BI needs to deliver highest value to the organization and identify development solutions for BI requirements in collaboration with IT
  • Lead development and testing needs of BI projects to ensure data integrity and intuitive interpretation by users
  • Identify  Use Cases and User Stories to support BI projects; coordinate cross-functional team to build and validate Use Cases and User Stories
  • Support BI Systems and Process Analysts to support continuous improvement to analytics tools and methodologies (Wholesale BU)
  • Applyagile concepts and methodology to analytical work                                       


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Intelligence or related quantitative discipline is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in BI-related, analytical role(s) is required
  • Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to persevere to reach objectives for challenging problems
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting and translating data into decision-ready insights is required
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Demonstrated passion for learning and adoption of new technology
  • Experience developing tools and dashboards using Qlikview, Tableau or similar applications is preferred
  • Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning and reporting software such as SAP and use of Microsoft Office Suite; advanced proficiency in Excel is required
  • Experience developing Use Cases or User Stories is a plus
